The School of Basic & Biomedical Sciences (SBBS) is a constituent of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, Ghana. It was created during the establishment of the University in 2012 to be at the leading edge of teaching, research and innovation. The School’s mandate is to develop innovative solutions to health and disease in communities.
SBBS provides a platform to provide scientific and professional training, advance cutting-edge research and bring innovations that transform healthcare in Ghana and beyondSBBS is located in Ho, capital of the Volta Region of Ghana. It is the engine of research for the University and offers the scientific and health professional community access to a variety of basic and collaborative research infrastructure.
