Department of Basic Sciences

The Department of Basic Sciences has as its focus to deliver quality teaching and development of academic programs in Basic Sciences and it is one of the three departments in the School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences. Almost all the undergraduate programs in the various Schools of the University require the support of our Department since their curricula include courses such as Quantitative Literacy, Biostatistics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Research Methods which are coordinated and taught by our academic faculty members. We are interested in maintaining the highest quality of teaching instruction and research training for our students.
