Mr. Anthony Selorm Kwesi Amable is an assistant lecturer in the department of Basic Science, School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ghana. Prior to his appointment as an assistant lecturer, he was a Course Tutor (General Physics I and II), University of Cape Coast Distance Education, A lecturer (Basic Electronics) at Akim State University College and Senior Physics and Science Tutor at Assin Manso Senior Higher School, Assin Manso, C/R.
EDUCATION
He had his education at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where he obtained BEd. Degree in Science (Physics and Mathematics options), 2007, Master of Philosophy in Applied Nuclear Physics, 2014.
WORK EXPERIENCE
He taught as a graduate teacher at Assin Manso Senior High School as a Physics and Science tutor for 8 years where he also served in various capacities as chairman of health and sanitary committee. He also taught General Physics I and II in the university of Cape Coast distance education, Assin Fosu Centre for 2 years and Akim State University College as a Basic electronics lecturer for a year. Since his appointment as assistant lecturer, he has been teaching Physics at School of Basics and Biomedical Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences.
SCIENCE/ RESEARCH OUTPUT
Mr. Amable’s area (s) of research interest are particle accelerator, radon measurement, health physics, energy loss and range and ionizing and non – ionizing radiation in matter. He has two publications in peer-review journals.
