Mrs. Gifty Aba Doe is an Assistant Registrar and the School Officer for the School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences (SBBS) of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho. She is responsible for administration and management of staff, students and school records.
Prior to this, she was an Assistant Registrar in the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor in the University of Health and Allied Sciences with the responsibility of ensuring smooth administrative operation in the Office. She previously worked with the National Health Insurance Authority in Accra as Claims Officer.
Education
Mrs. Doe holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon- Accra. She also had her first degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra.
Work Experience
For 10 years, she headed the Claims Unit of the National Health Insurance Authority office in Nungua, Accra. She was responsible for validating claims from the hospitals, private pharmacies and diagnostic centres, training health personnel on Claims procedure, preparation of reports, periodic monitoring of healthcare providers and supervising validation of claims.

Mrs. Doe’s research focus is on university administration, specifically on work processes and with particular interest in student satisfaction in relation to facilities, teaching and learning.
