Mr. Peter Kwabla Agbezorlie is an Assistant Lecturer in Department of General and Liberal Studies, School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences of University of Health Allied Sciences. He teaches Academic and Communicative Skills I & II.
Education
He holds a Master of Philosophy in English and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Linguistics degrees from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also holds a Teacher’s Cert ‘A’ from the University of Cape Coast.
Work Experience
Mr. Agbezorlie is a teacher by profession, with a cumulative nineteen (19) years of teaching experience. He has taught at tertiary, secondary and basic school levels on full-time and part-time basis. He taught English Language and Communication Skills at University of Professional Studies, Accra; Varieties of English and Syntax for Basic School Teachers at University of Cape Coast, College of Distance Education, Ho Centre; and English Language at Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon. He also taught English at Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi and Atimatim JHS. He is a freelance proofreader.
Research Interest
His research interest areas are Health Communication, Stylistics, Syntax, Semantics, Phonetics and Sociolinguistics. He is a member of the Ghana Association of Teachers of English (GATE) and the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL).
