Mr. Kingsley Ampong is an Assistant Lecturer at Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Basic and Biomedical Science of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho.
Education
He obtained his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Degree in Human Anatomy and Forensic Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He attended University for Development Studies for his undergraduate studies where he was awarded Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Biology. He is also a professional teacher with Teachers’ Certificate A’ from University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Work experience
Prior to his appointment as an Assistant Lecturer, he was a Principal Biomedical Scientist with the Ghana Adventist Health Services, SDA Hospital, Kwadaso – Kumasi.
He taught as professional teacher with Kenyase Junior High and Serwaa Nyarko Girls’ Senior High Schools under the Ghana Education Service in Kumasi. He has ten (10) years working experience as a Biomedical Scientist with several health institutions including Ghana Baptist Health Services, Church of God Health Services and Ghana Adventist Health Services.
Science/Research output
Mr. Ampong’s research interest areas include forensic anthropology, neuroanatomy and renal pathophysiology. He has a publication in a peer – review journal.
