The Department also runs a postgraduate programme in MPhil Biomedical Sciences in which the first year is dedicated to the teaching of courses whereas research starts from the second year onwards. The postgraduate program in Biomedical Sciences has five (5) tracks: Microbiology, Genetics and Evolutionary Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular and Immunological Sciences and a General track.
