He is an Assistant Lecturer at School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences, University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, Ghana.
EDUCATION
He earned his MPhil from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where he also obtained an honour’s Bachelor degree in English and Sociology and, at the moment, completing his doctoral studies. He is a former student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, earning a Diploma in Journalism. He also attended the International Institute for Journalism, Berlin, Germany, obtaining a certificate in Economic & Financial Reporting. Nathaniel is a member of the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment, Keene (New Hampshire).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Mr. Nathaniel Glover-Meni has worked variously as university lecturer, communications specialist and journalist over the last twenty years. He worked as Communications/Media Specialist with Nestlé Central & West Africa. After that role, served as Communications Manager with Stratcomm Africa, a total/strategic media communication concern based in Accra. He was formerly the Public Relations Officer of Takoradi Polytechnic (now Takoradi Technical University) and, before then, worked with the Johns Hopkins University’s Centre for Communication Programs in Accra as Program Officer in charge of Documentations, Publications and Media. Nathaniel spent more than 10 years with the Ghana News Agency, becoming Presidential Correspondent in 2009.
RESEARCH OUTPUT
His research interests include Literary Journalism, Eco-Critical Journalism, Literature and Communication. He has presented papers at international conferences and has 9 publications to his credit at the moment.
